Porsche to Field Nine 911 GT3 RS Race Cars

Stuttgart, Germany - Porsche is set to make history at the 2023 Le Mans 24 Hours, fielding nine 911 GT3 RS race cars in the highly competitive GTE Pro and GTE Am classes. This marks a significant increase in the team's presence at the iconic endurance race, as Porsche seeks to add to its unparalleled track record in Le Mans.

GT3 Cars Make Le Mans Debut

For the first time ever, GT3-spec cars will be eligible to compete at Le Mans. Porsche's 911 GT3 RS, a race-ready version of the popular road-going sports car, will challenge for overall victory in the GTE Pro class. The team will field three cars in this category, driven by some of the world's top endurance drivers.

Six additional 911 GT3 RS cars will compete in the GTE Am class, where amateur drivers team up with professional co-drivers. Porsche has a strong history in this class, having won the GTE Am title in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2018.

Porsche Targets Record-Breaking Performance
