France made it a miserable return to international management for Ronald Koeman as they ruthlessly dispatched of the Netherlands 4-0 in their Euro 2024 qualifier on Friday.
Kylian Mbappe scored twice and Antoine Griezmann and Olivier Giroud also found the net as the 2018 World Cup winners made a statement in their opening game of the campaign.
Spain were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Greece in their Group C opener, with Alvaro Morata's goal cancelled out by Anastasios Bakasetas.
In other matches, Portugal beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-1, while Italy thrashed Malta 6-0 and England hammered San Marino 5-0.

The UEFA EURO Group stage draw took place on Saturday, with the 24 qualified teams being split into six groups of four.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stage, with the four best third-placed teams also advancing.
The tournament will be played in 10 cities across Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024.
